Avoiding Plagiarism
As a student we need to be integrity at all time especially in academic. Having integrity means doing the right thing, even when no one is looking. Academic integrity is so important because dishonest behavior like plagiarism undermines your learning. Plagiarism is taking someone else’s work or ideas and passing them off as one’s own. Students assessment activities like examination, assignment, reports, presentation and research must be their own work. Copy and paste behavior is example of plagiarism. Use your own idea will produce honest work with full integrity.
Ø WHAT IS GPA?
GPA is stand for Grade Point average. It is the measurement use to calculate all the numbered grades you’ve received and dividing them by the number of credits you’ve taken.
Ø WHAT IS CGPA?
CGPA is stand for Cumulative Grade Point Average. It is the measurement of average grade points obtained by students in all the semester.
Ø IMPORTANCE OF GPA/CGPA
If you get a good grades of GPA, you can get a lot of benefits such as you can stay in university’s college, get a scholarship, and get a great job.
GPA & CGPA Calculation
- The formula used for the calculations of the Grade Point Average (GPA) is as follows:
GPA = the total values registered and attempted in the assessment of a semester

- Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) is also based on the formula:
CGPA = the total values registered and attempted in the assessment of all semesters
